A do-it-yourself booth complete with very short sample scripts, costuming, staging area, and safe hand props. Children will be coached and directed with the theatre accessories and each child will be able to take their sample script home with a picture of themselves in costume.

Communication (talking) is the single most activity in child abuse prevention. Parent and child will make a bead necklace or bracelet (one for the child and one for the parent). The child will choose a bead from a color category that signifies an important part of life, such as “dreams”.
The activity will promote communication between child and parent about the child’s dreams, hopes, and/or fears. The matching necklaces or bracelets will remind them of their promise to always talk to each other.
